2025 SUMMER YOUTH EMPLOYMENT PROGRAM INFORMATION

The Dutchess County Workforce Investment Board (DCWIB) is now accepting applications for the 2025 Summer Youth Employment Program (SYEP)

SYEP is a first come first serve program for youth who meet eligibility requirements. SYEP participants can earn $15.50 per hour for up to 25 hours per week.
 

Youth programs that participated in the 2024 SYEP include The Art Effect (Spark Studio & MadLab),  Cornell Cooperative Ext (Green Teen), North East Community Center, Nubian Directions, Poughkeepsie Farm ProjectRed Hook Community Center, Community Matters 2, Smart Staffing and Love Quest Foundation

SYEP ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
✓ Resident of Dutchess County
✓ Family income being at or below 200% of poverty level
✓ On July 1, 2025, you are between the ages of 14 and 20 years old.
✓ Eligible to work in the U.S. and have proper identification

There is no application fee to apply to the Summer Youth Employment Program

Operating Hours 8:30am to 4:30pm

Dropped off at the following locations:  

SOUTHERN DUTCHESS: The Beacon Recreation Center
Operating Hours 9:00 am to 6:00 pm
NORTHERN DUTCHESS: The Red Hook Community Center
Operating Hours 10:00 am to 6:00 pm
EASTERN DUTCHESS:     North East Community Center
Operating Hours 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
